We would like all clinical investigators within our Oklahoma Shared Clinical and Translational Resources partner institutions to be aware that the OSCTR Clinical Research space in the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center is now open and available for your clinical research studies. We have a new clinical research coordinator, Janice Gales, who looks forward to aiding investigators with clinical research projects and regulatory assistance. Janice is a registered nurse who has been involved in clinical research on campus since 1995.
Since 2002, she worked at the OUHSC Institutional Review Board and was responsible for a variety of activities including assisting investigators and study staff with IRB submissions, performing quality improvement visits and was instrumental in the development, implementation, and daily workings of the IRB’s electronic submission software - iRIS.
Janice also assisted investigators and study staff with registering their studies on ClinicalTrials.gov. Janice has maintained her Certification of Clinical Research Professionals (CCRP) through the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) and she has maintained her Certificate for IRB Professionals (CIP) through the Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) group.
Please contact Janice at the OSCTR navigator service (osctr@ouhsc.edu) if you would like to discuss utilization of the OSCTR clinical facility for your research study or to help start a new area of clinical investigation.
